We forget that “For Now” is most often where we’re at.
When we’re creating something, it’s not going to stay that way forever. Evolution. Growth. Change. All of those things happen. Then we recognize, respond and adapt to the turn.
Further, it’s best if we train our brains to think in phases and “for now” v. forever. What we put in place today is the foundation from which we grow. And we’ll probably need to make changes.
Our “forever’s” are the over aching principles in our lives. Our “for now’s” are our tactical activities that make up our motions and movements forward, background, around…all mashed together to make our successes.
A great book to read on this topic is Mindset by Carol Dweck.
